Description

The science of reading is a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to literacy instruction that is backed by decades of research examining how people learn to read and the most effective methods for teaching essential reading skills. Often referred to as SOR, it combines findings from cognitive psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, and education to understand exactly how reading works as a complete and continuous process.
